Jembi Mozambique, in collaboration with the Regenstrief Institute and with financial support from the German Development Agency (GIZ), has successfully launched four free online courses in Digital Health.
These courses, available on the Atingi platform, aim to equip professionals in low-resource settings with essential knowledge and practical skills to improve health IT and management.
Empowering Digital Health Professionals
The four courses—End-User Support (Help Desk), Introduction to Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Global Goods and Community Engagement, and Business Analysis in Digital Health—cover key areas that help digital health professionals:
Streamline technical support and improve system usability.
Understand the lifecycle of health information systems.
Engage communities in adopting and benefiting from Global Goods.
Enhance business analysis skills for better decision-making in digital health projects.
Since their launch in late 2024, these courses have already been completed by more than 500 learners worldwide—proof of the growing demand for structured capacity building digital health training.
To extend accessibility, the courses are currently being translated into Spanish, allowing even more professionals across Latin America and other Spanish-speaking regions to benefit from this knowledge.
A Commitment to Capacity Building
We gratefully acknowledge the DIPC Content Creation project, led by the Regenstrief Institute and funded by GIZ, which made this initiative possible. Through this collaboration, we strengthen our commitment to strengthening digital health expertise where it's needed most.
